Not in the way most people mean it. You don't hand a function to an anonymous team. You get a dedicated team member who works only for you, using your systems, and embedded as part of your existing team.

No. There's no placement fee and we don't walk away once someone starts. You pay one flat monthly fee, and we stay involved for as long as the placement runs.

Your hours, or as close as you need. India is 4.5 hours ahead of the UK in summer and 5.5 in winter, and our Lumo team members can work on UK office hours.

We recruit for strong written and spoken English. Your team member then learns your systems and ways of working during onboarding, just as a new starter in your office would. Where your software is licensed per user, you provide a seat for your team member, as you would for any new hire.

Your team member works through remote desktop only, so your data never leaves your systems. We have a UK–India data transfer agreement and a transfer risk assessment in place for UK GDPR.

We have a standard holiday policy, which includes Indian public holidays, for all Lumo team members. Short-term sickness is covered in the fee. For longer absences, you'll receive a credit on your invoice, and we'll agree with you whether to arrange cover, pause the role or end it.

We aim to share candidate profiles with you within 1-2 weeks. Once you've chosen someone, we'll get them onboarded as quickly as we can. The exact start date depends on their current notice period.

We stay close enough to spot any issues early. Keri sits down with you every quarter to talk about how things are going, and has regular one-to-ones with your team member too. If something isn't right, we'll work through it together. If it's still not the right fit, we'll find someone who is. You can also end the arrangement on one month's notice after an initial three-month term.
